These shelf plates are made of polypropylene—a durable plastic that resists damage from moisture, chemicals, and humidity. Because this material is dishwasher safe, the plates can be removed and sanitized in the dishwasher. Between these heavy-duty cleanings, the shelves can be wiped down, and their antimicrobial protection inhibits mold and bacterial growth to prevent stains and odors. With their louvered design, the shelves promote air circulation around stored products, keeping items in walk-in coolers and freezers cold and reducing dust buildup in dry pantry storage.
