The Bloomfield 1040D2F decanter coffee maker uses Electronic Brewer Control™ (E.B.C.) technology to give the user their brew of choice. Touch keypad switches and lights indicate settings such as temperature control, a brew cycle timer, and a Countdown Quality Timer™ that alerts users to the end of coffee holding time. This machine is automatic so it has no manual refill requirement, though its pourover feature enables it to be refilled manually if a water connection is not installed.
An After Hours Mode lowers the tank water temperature when the unit is inactive, saving power. The bottom warmer keeps coffee ready to serve and the top warmer facilitates a second, readied batch. Hot chocolate and other hot drink alternatives can be prepared using the hot water faucet on the front of the Bloomfield 1040D2F decanter coffee maker.
