Alto-Shaam ED2-48-BLK 48" Full Service Countertop Heated Display Case - (1) Shelf, 120/208-240v/1ph

Because the Alto-Shaam ED2-48-BLK heated display case doesn't use water to keep food warm, condensation won't build up on the viewing window. This enables customers to see products inside the case without obstacles, and the glass is curved so heat reflects back into the food. The six overhead lights brighten the display and are controlled with two on and off switches. To accommodate multiple food types, this unit has two zones with separate temperature controls that radiate heat from the base.

The Alto-Shaam ED2-48-BLK countertop display case uses a patented technology called Halo Heat® that surrounds food with heat to keep it uniformly warm for hours without further cooking the food. To access the interior, there are sliding glass doors, which further enhance product viewing by creating a mirror effect. If workers need to season foods or need additional space to work, the back shelf acts as a prep space for employees.
