Alto-Shaam 500-TH Description

This Alto-Shaam 500-TH cook-and-hold oven's interior is 14 3⁄8 inches wide, 21 1⁄2 inches deep, 20 1⁄16 inches high and features three wire shelves that accommodate 10 half-size pans or five full-size pans. Two stainless steel side racks offer 11 pan positions spaced on 1 3⁄8-inch centers. Because it doesn't require a water hookup or traditional kitchen hood, this half-height oven is simple to install. It's fitted with 3 1⁄2-inch casters so operators can move the unit for maintenance and cleaning, while the rust- and corrosion-resistant stainless steel exterior and door lend a lasting service life.

With its Halo Heat® system, the Alto-Shaam 500-TH cook-and-hold oven generates cooking heat from 200 to 325 degrees Fahrenheit and has a holding temperature range between 85 and 205 degrees Fahrenheit. Because this technology doesn't operate with high-heat heating elements, added humidity, or fans, it preserves food quality while extending holding times. The relatively low temperature output also lets the unit cook product overnight to reduce labor. Its single-point, straight probe can be used to gauge internal product temperature, and if the result is within its programmed parameter, the unit switches automatically from cook mode to hold mode. For streamlined operation, the simple controls feature a user-friendly interface so operators can manage temperatures and program recipes.
