Alto-Shaam 500-2DN Description
The Alto-Shaam 500-2DN narrow warming drawer is divided into two drawers to warm two full-size food pans simultaneously and prevent flavor transfer. The same control panel manages both drawers, so it's ideal for foods with similar holding requirements. Operators can adjust the up and down arrows to modify temperatures from 60 to 200 degrees Fahrenheit, while the digital display provides an accurate temperature readout. By using Halo Heat® technology, this unit prevents foods from drying out because it produces low-intensity heat that doesn't use harsh heating elements.
Despite being a two-drawer unit, this Alto-Shaam 500-2DN drawer warmer saves counterspace because its drawers are stacked. This 16 11⁄16-inch-wide by 31 3⁄16-inch-deep unit has the same dimensions as a single-drawer unit and can be stacked with other warming drawers as business needs change. As many as 50 dinner rolls or 34 baked potatoes can be held in each drawer, and to preserve its original look, its stainless steel construction resists rust, corrosion, and wear.
