Alto-Shaam 1000-S Description
Mounted on casters, the Alto-Shaam 1000-S Halo Heat® heated holding cabinet is mobile. Its door latches shut magnetically, preventing it from swinging open and exposing cabinet contents. The unit itself is made of stainless steel, so it is scratch resistant and durable for heavy use. It comes with two chrome-plated racks and can accommodate (4) 12-inch by 20-inch pans of food.
This Alto-Shaam 1000-S heated holding cabinet has a temperature range of 60 to 200 degrees Fahrenheit. Its gentle Halo Heat design works great for warming many food types—from vegetables and fish to potatoes and casseroles. For crispy foods, the door is vented to release excess moisture and the sensitive digital control reacts quickly to any temperature changes. This unit is short and can be stacked with a cook and hold oven to save floor space.
