The Dexter 83102 knife guard prevents the user from injuring him or herself when picking up the knife to use. The interior lining protects the knife from getting scratched. An offset cutout allows the knife to easily slide into the cover. The one-piece construction of the guard makes it heavy duty for use in commercial settings.   • protects knife well

    "I'd replaced a serrated 8 inch bread knife with a non serrated 10 inch slicer. Needed something to cover the bread knife, keep It safe from dents and dings when bumping around stored inside a drawer. Very glad to find these, could've made something myself but probably wouldn't have gotten around to it, and it wouldn't have looked as good possibly, depends on degree of laziness I guess. Anyhow it's protecting the replaced knife well."
