With its curved, 10-inch-long blade, the Dexter Russell S147-10SC-PCP Sani-Safe® bread knife has scalloped edges that slice bread without flattening or crushing the loaf. Along with pineapples, watermelon, and cantaloupe, this blade style also works well with peppers, tomatoes, and other waxy vegetables. Its high-carbon steel blade is resistant to corrosion and designed to support high-volume prepping. The handle is constructed of polypropylene—a strong material that has a nonslip texture for comfortable gripping. To promote sanitation, the blade-to-handle attachment is sealed to eliminate hard-to-clean crevices.
