By using electromagnetism, the stoves heat induction-ready pots and pans without using flames, keeping the ceramic glass surface cool throughout use. Convenient cooking controls let employees adjust temperatures from 90 to 440 degrees Fahrenheit, while LED power-level indicators display each stove's heat to enhance operational oversight.

For use as a cooking demo station or interactive cooking setup, the Lakeside 2080 BLK cooking cart measures 48 inches wide by 22 inches deep by 35¹⁄₂ inches high, featuring an unimpeded view of the cooking surface. Its stainless steel top and sides provide a professional appearance and lasting durability in addition to rust and corrosion resistance. To tie into established decorative themes, its exterior sports a black laminate finish. Beneath the cooktop, the base features an 18-gauge stainless steel shelf that can accommodate utensils, napkins, condiments, spices, and other supplies. This unit rests on all-swivel, non-marking casters that provide smooth mobility; two of these casters include brakes for stability.
