Cleveland TMKDL80T Description
To mix and heat different foods simultaneously, the Cleveland TMKDL80T mixer kettle features two kettles, each with an 80-gallon working capacity. Both kettles are heated by a direct steam system and encased in 2⁄3 steam jackets for even heating, reducing the risk of cold spots. Each kettle is equipped with a hydraulic-powered agitator and scraper, which are adjustable from 0 to 320 rotations per minute and 0 to 40 rotations per minute, respectively. While the agitator mixes product evenly, the scraper removes buildup from the jacketed interior. To prevent splattering, this unit starts mixing slowly and automatically stops mixing when the bridge is lifted. Also, a two-piece cover with a screen helps contain product.
To prevent overexertion from lifting the heavy Cleveland TMKDL80T twin kettles, each has a tilt mechanism supported by roller bearings. The unit locks in place during pouring and product is funneled via its large pouring lip to minimize spills. Users can release liquid product from the 3-inch quick-opening butterfly valve located near the bottom of each kettle. To add water to cool product or for additional hot water, this unit comes with hot and cold water faucets; gallon markings are stamped on the scraper shaft for accuracy. The exterior's stainless steel composition resists corrosion and the 316 stainless steel interior linings defend against damage from acidic products. Mounted on stabilizing legs, this unit measures 112 inches wide by 42.75 inches deep by 52 inches high.
