The Cleveland SGL30TR DuraPan™ tilt skillet has a highly efficient heating system that evenly distributes heat from the burners to the cooking surface, while temperature in the unit is adjustable on the thermostat knob from 100 to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Taking 60 minutes to heat 30 gallons of cold food to boiling, the unit preheats in 11 minutes. In the pan, gallon and liter markings show how much product is inside, easing ingredient measuring for recipes. Coved pan corners eliminate debris-trapping crevices to facilitate cleaning.

With a 30-gallon capacity, the Cleveland SGL30TR tilt skillet cooks large batches of food, as the unit is great for institutional cooking, though it can be used anywhere that requires high-volume output. A cover is included with the unit, and because it is so large, it is spring assisted. Letting heat out when necessary, the vent in the cover is adjustable so users can lower the food's moisture content or release steam before opening the cover. This unit tilts with a hand crank and when it is turned counterclockwise, it will lower. Though it is more economical, this manual tilt mechanism is more difficult to use than power tilt.
