The Cleveland SD-450-K6 tilting kettle is positioned on a modular cabinet stand with a full-width drain trough and a sliding drain pan to facilitate condensate removal. Built with a splash shield, this unit captures water to minimize messes. Its single kettle features a 6-gallon capacity and operates with a two-thirds steam jacket to cook evenly with no hot or cold spots. When connected to an external boiler, this direct-steam unit is ideal for cooking large batches of soup, pasta, and chili.
To fill the Cleveland SD-450-K6 steam kettle with hot or cold water, it includes a swinging faucet. It tilts using a manual, balanced tilting mechanism that facilitates pouring and serving. Being constructed of stainless steel, the exterior is durable and rust resistant, and the interior features a 316 stainless steel liner to defend against corrosion. Its factory-installed steam control kit includes a condensate strainer, steam control valve, steam strap, check valve, nipples, and fittings.
