Cleveland KET3T Description
The Cleveland KET-3-T electric steam kettle has a two-thirds steam jacket that eliminates hot and cold spots to ensure uniform heating. With a 3-gallon capacity, it can be used to cook large batches of chili, soup, and stew. The temperature can be adjusted from 145 to 260 degrees Fahrenheit using solid-state temperature controls and a 1 through 10 temperature dial. An LED light shines to indicate the heat cycle and water level, which refills automatically with treated water. To prevent leaking, the unit includes welded-in heating elements.
To serve soup, the Cleveland KET-3-T manual tilting kettle tilts with a lever-style tilting mechanism. This mechanism self-locks to hold it in place while contents are dispensed through an anti-drip pour spout. With its heavy-duty rolled rim, the pour spout is durable to protect it from damage. The exterior of the unit is made of stainless steel for durability, while the interior is 316 series stainless steel to resist rusting and corroding.
