Cleveland KEL-40-SH Description
Because the Cleveland KEL40SH electric kettle is part of the Short Series™, it measures 341⁄2 inches wide by 44 inches deep by 357⁄8 inches high. This stationary unit features an open tri-leg base with adjustable feet that can level on uneven ground, and to secure the unit in place, the flanged feet can be bolted to the floor. The kettle's corrosion-resistant stainless steel construction is durable enough to withstand daily use and heating, and it's simple to wipe clean for future applications. Overall, this unit can support 40 gallons of rice, sauce, stew, and soup—equal to (640) 8-ounce servings.
This self-contained Cleveland KEL40SH electric stationary kettle only needs to be hooked up to an electrical source to heat the steam jacket. To reduce hands-on maintenance, the steam jacket is filled permanently with treated water, meaning it doesn't need to be vented or refilled. The jacket encases the full kettle, surrounding product evenly for uniform heat distribution. With its 50-PSI rating, it can heat products at high temperatures to expedite cook time. The splash-proof, solid-state temperature controls let operators adjust temperatures from 145 to 260 degrees Fahrenheit. Once product is cooked, thick, solid foods can be scooped from the kettle, while excess liquids can be strained from the draw-off valve.
