Cleveland KDL-60-SH Description
The Cleveland KDL-60-SH steam kettle doesn't tilt, so it's equipped with a 2-inch tangent draw-off valve for broth removal. A drain strainer helps separate food from liquid while it's being poured. For access from any side, the unit's spring-assist cover is rotatable. The full steam-jacketed kettle heats evenly and quickly and features a 60-gallon capacity to serve broth, chili, or soup. Because it cooks large batches at once, it's a great choice for use in schools, banquet halls, and institutions.
With its direct steam design, the Cleveland KDL-60-SH stationary steam kettle must be installed to an external boiler to draw steam inside the kettle and heat the food. Its open tri-leg base is situated on flanged legs that can be bolted for stability and adjusted for use on uneven surfaces. Constructed of stainless steel, this unit is durable and resistant to rust and corrosion. Its condensate drain valve helps eliminate excess condensation while its handle remains cool to the touch to reduce the risk of injury.
