Cleveland 24GMK6200 Description
Providing hot and cold water, the Cleveland 24GMK6200 steam kettle with cabinet base has a faucet that swivels, so water can flow directly into the base's sink or into the kettle, and when not pouring, users can swing the faucet out of the way. The kettle has a 6-gallon capacity and 304 series stainless steel construction, which is not broken down by acidic foods. A jacket is around the lower two-thirds of this kettle's body, and steam fills this jacket, warming it and cooking the contents.
Because this Cleveland 24GMK6200 manual tilt steam kettle has a built-in steam generator, a boiler connection is not needed. On startup, the generator fills with water to create steam, and a low-water cut-off regulates the amount of water, preventing burnout and maintaining correct water levels. When done cooking, users can lift the cover off the kettle, pull the tilting handle, and pour cooked food into a container. The base's tall backsplash protects walls or equipment near the unit from splatter. To extend the kettle's lifespan, an automatic blowdown feature flushes scale buildup out of the steam generator.
