The Cleveland 22CET3.1 SteamChef™ boilerless steamer generates steam with a 1-gallon open water reservoir. This setup ensures the equipment can be cleaned quickly and eliminates the need for a boiler. Encased in aluminum, the element distributes heat evenly and prevents limescale buildup. A KleanShield system helps remove debris from the cooking compartment and the water reservoir between cleanings. Constructed of stainless steel, both the interior and exterior resist corrosion and dents.

With many automatic controls, the Cleveland 22CET3.1 steamer offers straightforward operation. The reservoir fills when the steamer is powered on and drains when the unit is turned off, and probes ensure correct water levels are maintained during use. Employees set a timed cycle with the 60-minute timer, and SureCook technology can adjust the time based on the product volume. After a timed cycle, the steamer enters standby mode, saving energy and staying ready for the next batch. If the temperature grows too hot, the system shuts off to prevent overheating and internal damage.
