Because it fits beneath 34-inch countertops, the Jackson DISHSTAR ADA-SEER high-temperature dishwasher is ADA compliant. This 24¹⁄₄-inch-wide by 26⁷⁄₈-inch-deep by 29³⁄₄-inch-tall unit boasts a 12-inch clearance height and labyrinth-type door-seal design that minimizes dripping during cycles. Its double-wall cabinet reduces noise to accommodate quiet settings, while its heat-retaining structure conserves energy. Made of resilient stainless steel that resists rust and corrosion, this dishmachine withstands rigorous use in fast-paced kitchens. A peg rack and combination rack are included to accommodate dishes and glassware.

The Jackson DISHSTAR ADA-SEER dishmachine uses a steam elimination and energy recovery (SEER) system to collect hot water vapor from previous cycles to preheat incoming rinse water. This energy-saving mechanism minimizes steam that otherwise could raise ambient temperatures and create an uncomfortable kitchen environment. Because its built-in booster heater and Sani-Sure™ mechanism raise incoming water to appropriate wash and rinse temperatures, this unit can operate with a cold water system.

Using the solid-state controls, staff can select Cycle I, Cycle II, or Cycle III timed cycles to accommodate normal, medium, and heavy-duty loads. With a 145-second cycle using 0.60 gallons of water, Cycle I can wash 24 racks per hour, which leads to 14.4 gallons of water used per hour. To protect glasses from damage, the washing cycle starts up softly. Its wash design uses a fresh-water rinse, while its above-water scrap basket accumulates food debris for streamlined cleanup and removal.
