The Paderno 11113-20 saucier pan is mostly constructed of strong stainless steel. In the bottom, an aluminum plate is between two sheets of stainless steel to retain and distribute heat, while the upper edges are thick and reinforced for durability and warp resistance. A handle is welded to the side of the pan, staying cool to the touch, and this vessel can be used on induction cooktops. It has a concave bottom that flattens when heated.
