This space accommodates a stainless steel deck and one tier with two glass shelves to organize prepackaged snacks, sandwiches, salads and botted beverages. Tempered glass panels encase the unit's front and two sides for a clear view of contents merchandised on the deck for quick identification, while energy-efficient LED lighting presents a bright interior. Sliding rear glass doors simplify loading and retrieving product without interfering with customers. With its open top and perforated doors, air can circulate throughout the cooler uniformly, creating an air wall that prevents dust and pests from contaminating displayed contents. Free-flowing air also reduces condensation and warm spots that could damage goods.

The Turbo Air TOM-72L-UFD-W(B)-2S-N display case is a self-contained refrigeration system that doesn't require plumbing and operates once it's plugged into an outlet. This merchandiser is meant for gas stations and grocery stores that don't exceed ambient conditions of 80 degrees Fahrenheit and 55 percent humidity. It uses eco-friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant to generate cool, safe temperatures, and as inventory changes, operators can adjust temperatures with the digital electronic thermostat, which includes a digital, solar-powered thermometer and defrost-cycle controls. High-density, foamed-in-place polyurethane foam preserves cool temperatures, even if the unit is stored in warm ambient environments. The included night cover can be pulled across the unit overnight or when the store is closed to conserve energy. To ensure this system operates efficiently over time, its condenser uses an automatic self-cleaning mechanism; its rotating brush sweeps dust buildup from its fine mesh filter daily.
