To capture customer attention, LED lights brighten this low-profile, 50⁷⁄₈-inch-wide by 34³⁄₄-inch-deep by 42¹⁄₈-inch-tall unit's interior, while the safety-reinforced, tempered glass front shield provides a full view of the bottom shelf's contents. It sports a black exterior, solid side panels, and a stainless steel interior for a modern flair in gas stations, grocery stores, airports, and cafeterias. Because it doesn't require plumbing and uses a plug-in installation, it boasts flexibility in areas it can be places.

When the Turbo Air TOM-50SB-SP-N horizontal merchandiser is installed in areas that don't exceed 80 degrees Fahrenheit and 55 percent humidity, its self-contained refrigeration system can produce and maintain set temperatures. Operators can adjust temperatures with the digital electronic thermostat and read the merchandiser's temperature at a glance with the solar-powered digital thermometer. The back guard and perforated interior back wall and top enhance airflow, while the polyurethane insulation retains produced temperatures. To prolong the unit's service life, it's equipped with a self-cleaning condenser that removes dust buildup daily.
