To connect a prep station and serving area, the Turbo Air PRO-26H2-GS-PT heated cabinet is a pass-thru unit with one right-hinged stainless steel door featuring a glass window and one right-hinged, solid stainless steel door. These doors are self-closing to reduce heat loss, but they stay open past 120 degrees to ease pan insertion and retrieval. The stainless steel interior is lined with three 23¹⁄₂-inch-wide by 26³⁄₈-inch-deep stainless steel wire shelves to accommodate various products. This cabinet measures 28³⁄₄ inches wide by 38³⁄₄ inches deep by 83 inches high and features a stainless steel exterior and interior with a galvanized exterior top and bottom for long-term rust and corrosion resistance and simple cleaning. To ease transport, this full-height cabinet is fitted with 4-inch swivel casters—two of which lock for stability.

Once operators set temperatures between 140 and 180 degrees Fahrenheit to accommodate specific holding requirements, the Turbo Air PRO-26H2-GS-PT pass-thru heated cabinet's ducted fan air distribution system maintains the desired temperature in the food zone. Users can monitor internal temperature with the digital display, and to reduce malfunction risks, the monitoring system features an early warning alarm program that detects issues. To minimize temperature fluctuations, an alarm beeps when the doors aren't sealed, and the cabinet and doors are insulated with CFC-free, high-density polyurethane that's foamed in place.
