Winston CHV5-14UV Description
Large and durable, the Winston CVap® cook-and-hold oven is made of corrosion- and rust-resistant stainless steel that offers ample room for sheet and hotel pans. Its sizeable, one-compartment design is accessible through two field-reversible doors with magnetic handles, while the racks inside hold a 65-pound capacity of 18-inch by 26-inch, 13-inch by 18-inch, or 12-inch by 20-inch pans. This unit is situated on four 5-inch casters to simplify movement in close quarters. Before line cooks place trays inside, they can select the desired water level for satisfactory results before automatically filling. Similarly, this unit features a drain to facilitate cleaning.
The Winston CHV5-14UV electric oven and holding unit features eight programmable channels, though users can also change temperatures 1 degree at a time. As food cooks through various methods, the built-in trough works to collect excess moisture and protect electronic components. Additionally, the C-Touch panel includes other keys and functions—such as USB and audio ports—to gain access to added benefits such as HACCP temperature logs.
