A beechwood base is integrated at the bottom of the bristles, providing a secure mount to the handle. Overall, the head measures 7¹¹⁄₁₆ inches long by 2¹⁹⁄₃₂ inches wide by 1¹⁄₆₄ inches high, and the 1¹⁄₄-inch-long steel wire bristles offer improved surface contact.
