Perfect for cooking two orders at a time, the Star PGC28IE Pro-Max 2.0® sandwich grill is a smart investment for cafes and restaurants with several grilled menu items. Two grooved cast iron top plates work alongside a heavy-duty counterbalanced hinge system for durable operation and solid contact with foods. The plates work independently so they can be lifted and lowered separately. The bottom 28-inch-long grooved cast iron plate provides a large space that fits thick sandwiches, wraps, chicken, and steak. Cast iron retains heat for minimal heat loss when the top plates open and close, so several orders can be cooked right after one order is finished. Each top plate has a handle for safe, easy opening. An analog thermostat, electronic temperature control, and timer help prevent burning and undercooking.

The Star PGC28IE Pro-Max 2.0 sandwich grill is meant to be a long-lasting tool in commercial kitchens. Its stainless steel construction and silver material disguise chips, scratches, and dents; the steel also protects against corrosion. With frequent reseasoning, the cast iron plates continually offer a nonstick surface to decrease food residue. The oil- and water-resistant conduit protects electrical connections.
