With an approximate pass-through time of 25 seconds, the Star HCT13S Ultra-Max® contact toaster produces 1,400 slices per hour. It features a horizontal conveyor with a silicone belt that leaves no marks; the opening between the belt and toasting surface is adjustable to accommodate different products. It uses a contact toasting method that seals the bread's surface, creating a crispy texture that won't be made soggy by condiments. It's operated with analog controls and, when in use, the exterior remains cool to the touch to prevent injury.

Built to provide long-lasting durability, the Star HCT13S conveyor toaster is constructed of rust- and corrosion-resistant stainless steel. To ease loading, it features an extended belt with a sloped platen that includes two nonstick sheets to streamline cleaning. To expedite cleaning further, it's equipped with a removable crumb tray. It's mounted on 1-inch legs and, overall, measures 19¹/₄ inches wide by 24²/₅ inches deep by 17³/₁₀ inches high.
