Star 872TA Description
With a 72-inch-wide cooking area for high-volume cooking, the Star 872TA Ultra-Max® gas griddle is the largest in the Ultra-Max gas griddle series. Good for breakfast joints and medium-traffic eateries, the griddle thoroughly grills foods such as meats, pancakes, and eggs. Every 12-inch section of the 1-inch griddle surface is heated with independent temperature controls, catering to the individual needs of each order. Additionally, its thick cooking surface prevents warping amidst constant reheating. For best cooking results, users can adjust the manual thermostat within a temperature range of 150 to 550 degrees Fahrenheit.
Made of stainless steel, the Star 872TA Ultra-Max gas griddle is designed to thrive in commercial kitchen environments with few maintenance needs. Its exterior can easily be wiped down, and the unit stays in place with its four adjustable legs. Grease is drained into the griddle’s trough and collected in two gas drawers for quick cleanup. Along its rear and sides, splash guards help prevent hot grease from spilling onto the countertops or operator.
