The Scotsman MC1030SA-32/B842S/KBT29 Prodigy ELITE® ice cube machine and ice bin with installation kit has a stainless steel exterior with a metallic finish to resist corrosion and scratches. The ice bin has a 778-pound storage capacity and a polyurethane foam insulation between the liner and wall to help preserve the ice. An ice scoop is included with a built-in holder that keeps the scoop out of the ice. The interior is lined with polyethylene to keep it sanitary and resist scuffs from the ice scoop. The baffle can be removed for cleaning and the drain fitting is recessed to for flexible installation.

The Scotsman MC1030SA-32/B842S/KBT29 ice cube machine can make 1077 pounds of ice daily and has a Harvest Assist feature that guides the ice into the bin with a probe and hot gas. This machine has a self-contained, air-cooled refrigeration system with a front-located air filter that improves air circulation and helps prevent overheating. The WaterSense purge control monitors and adjusts water quality to reduce scale buildup. To access the internal components, the front panel is self-aligning and removable. A QR code on the front of the unit provides service and warranty information and the cleaning process runs with the push of a button.
