It features a 17.3-cubic-foot capacity, which is ideal for packaged drinks, sandwiches, and salads. This unit’s five 12-inch-deep shelves hold these items, highlighting their packaging with vertical canopy LED lighting. Its sides display glass panels for heightened visibility, while its narrow structure takes up minimal space in busy aisles. This refrigerated reach-in has one open section as part of the microSC™ series and comes with leg levelers and casters to ensure an upright position.
The Hussmann MDN-4775S1A vertical cooler maintains medium temperatures with a well-designed cassette refrigeration system that's self-contained toward the bottom. The front panel features ventilation used to bring air in, while the back is primarily used for hot air discharge. Within the condenser housing, an evaporator works with environmentally friendly R290 refrigerant to remove traces of hot air as a fanning system distributes chilled air throughout the body. Considering this process results in the accumulation of condensation, this cooler is paired with an automatic evaporation drain pan system that effectively removes it for optimal performance. The temperatures in this unit can be adjusted, and it features a time-initiated, temperature-terminated defrost system.
