Because the Hatco GRSDS/H-41DHW Glo-Ray® merchandising warmer includes a high-wattage top heater for the horizontal top shelf, it's ideal for holding fried foods at their appropriate serving temperatures. The bottom shelf can support wrapped foods, boxed pizza, and nachos, and its slanted design moves foods toward its front as items are removed so customers can retrieve their purchases quickly. Both shelves' top-mounted heaters have infrared heating elements that direct heat toward their outer edges, which can help eliminate heat loss. The shelves' aluminum bases can be adjusted from 185 to 200 degrees Fahrenheit with thermostatic controls.

For effective countertop merchandising, the Hatco GRSDS/H-41DHW display warmer measures 41 inches wide by 24³/₁₆ inches deep by 33¹/₂ inches high, features incandescent interior lighting, and is encased in two tempered glass side panels. These components grant customers a full view of the case, and users can separate various contents on the shelves with the 16 product divider rods. To blend in with common decor in gas stations, supermarkets, delis, and concession stands, its exterior has a glossy gray finish. Its aluminum and stainless steel construction resists rust and is simple to wipe clean. Because the unit doesn't have doors, customers can select their purchase from the front while employees load new items into the open back.
