Ideal for short-term holding applications in convenience stores, supermarkets, and cafeterias, both shelves include pre-focused upper infrared heating elements that circulate heat toward the shelves' outer edges, where most heat escapes. The shelves' heated hard-coated aluminum bases can be adjusted to maintain temperatures from 185 to 200 degrees Fahrenheit to accommodate various holding requirements.

For an organized, visually appealing presentation, employees can separate different products using the Hatco GR2SDH-42D heated display's adjustable product divider rods. Top-mounted incandescent lights improve visibility of product, and their shatterproof designs protect merchandised foods from bulb breakage. Both clear tempered glass end panels grant a full view of the interior, and the unit's open front and rear create a convenient pass-thru system that enables employees to load fresh products into the back and customers to select their purchase from the front. Made of anodized aluminum for lasting use in commercial settings, this 48¹/₄-inch-wide by 27-inch-deep by 29¹/₂₀-inch-high unit can be displayed on countertops in delis, cafeterias, and gas stations.
