Because they create a strong seal for food, these Hamilton Beach HVCPR30812 vacuum seal bags can be used with sous vide cooking or to preserve food. Their reinforced corners support high-temperature exposure and fluctuating temperatures, so the bags are suitable for retherming. These bags have nine polyethylene-nylon layers that create a high-oxygen barrier for tear and puncture resistance. Each bag is 3 millimeters thick and measures 12 inches by 8 inches.
