  • Great, durable blender

"Excellent for crushing ice--does not bog down, blade holds up to any use. Also does an outstanding job of mixing/blending (milkshakes, fruit drinks). Not quite the stamina of the old model 908 it replaced (860 watts), but it seems to be up to the job."
  • Not like they used to be.

"I have used this model for years until I replaced it with the same "new model". I use it regurlarly for frozen drinks. Something about the shape of the new blades at the bottom, now trap the ice and make it very hard to get a smooth drink.... I guess they don't make them like they used to..."
