For versatility, this Carlisle 1197008 food storage container lid fits 2- to 4-quart polycarbonate and polyethylene square food containers. It snaps onto the container tightly to keep ingredients fresh while shielding them from contaminants, and because it's forest green, it can be used in color-coded systems to organize inventory. Overall, this lid measures 75/16 inches long by 75/16 inches wide by 5/8 inches high and withstands temperatures between -40 and 165 degrees Fahrenheit. To minimize exposure to countertop contaminants while expediting drying, a hanging hole is built into one of its corners.
