The top is made of 16-gauge 430 series stainless steel and includes a 5-inch backsplash with a 1-inch return to help protect surrounding walls. Its 1⁵⁄₈-inch sanitary rolled front edge and square sides help keep containers, pans, and utensils in place during use, making it suitable for restaurants, school kitchens, or bakery assembly lines.

Built to support everyday operation, the Advance Tabco TSKG-248 work table includes two hat channels welded beneath the top to maintain a flat, reinforced surface. Galvanized structural adhesive and TIG-welded gussets help stabilize the top under weight from prep tools or mounted appliances. Rear and side cross rails strengthen the open base, and the underside is open to accommodate staff standing space or light storage. Adjustable bullet feet aid in leveling the table on uneven floors, and angle adapters are pre-installed for future drawer compatibility.
