The 60-inch-wide worktop is made of 16-gauge 430 series stainless steel, a corrosion-resistant material suitable for repeated cleaning and contact with foodservice tools or equipment. To protect nearby walls, the unit features a 5-inch backsplash with a 1-inch return, while the 1⁵⁄₈-inch sanitary rolled front rim and square sides help contain containers and utensils during use.

To deliver stability during operation, the Advance Tabco TSKG-245 work table includes two hat channels stud welded beneath the surface to maintain a level prep area and distribute weight evenly. These internal supports are reinforced with galvanized adhesive and stainless steel gussets for long-term strength. The underside remains open for operator access or storage of prep tools and containers. Adjustable 1-inch stainless steel bullet feet allow staff to level the unit on irregular floors, and welded angle adapters simplify future upgrades, such as the addition of drawers.
