It arrives unassembled, shipping with four steel frames, four polymer shelf mats, four polymer posts, and snap-on wedges. To help users with spacing the shelves, the posts are embossed every inch. The shelf frames hold compatible polymer mats, while their open-corner configuration enables a secure, snug fit. Each shelf flaunts an open-grid style that facilitates airflow and encourages light penetration.

To increase longevity, the four-sided steel frame of the MetroMax® Q576G3 shelf kit is finished in an epoxy coat to reduce corrosion. The Microban® antimicrobial protection embedded in the posts and shelf mats reduces bacterial and fungal growth. This unit can be used in humid settings and withstands temperatures between -20 and 125 degrees Fahrenheit for application in other settings. When cleaning is required, the mats can be removed and placed in a dishmachine, while the posts and steel frames can be wiped with a cloth and non-abrasive dish detergent.
