Because of its corrosion-resistant polymer construction and solid, removable polypropylene mats, the Metro MAX4-2436F MetroMax® 4 Series shelf is ideal for restaurant kitchens needing to store hundreds of pounds of equipment, food items, and other necessary products. Part of the MetroMax platform, the polymer shelf includes four wedge connectors for secure attachment to the platform's poles, which are sold separately. These connectors enable the shelf to hold as much as 800 pounds, even during transportation. The shelf's mats have a smooth surface so items can fit easily on the shelf, and their edges cling to the platform so they remain stable when moving. Their solid, flat design catches leaks and creates a quick-to-clean surface.

The Metro MAX4-2436F shelf and mats provide several safety-oriented features, such as the Microban® antimicrobial protection, which is built into the platform, shelf, and mats to minimize growth of mold or bacteria. Its polymer construction defends the shelf against corrosion; it'll resist rusting during extended exposure to moisture or chemicals. This unit can also withstand temperatures as low as -20 degrees Fahrenheit and as high as 120 degrees Fahrenheit, so the shelf can be placed in various environments. This product can be used alongside MetroMax i and MetroMax Q shelves.
