Metro MAX4-1836F MetroMax® 4 Polymer Solid Shelf - 36"W x 18"D, Blue

Built for food and equipment storage, the Metro MAX4-1836F MetroMax® 4 Series polymer shelf can hold a maximum of 800 pounds on its strong plastic composition. As a solid shelf, it contains spills so they don't drip onto other products, and if it's installed at the platform's bottom, it can protect products against dirt. To facilitate tool-free assembly, the shelf includes four wedge connectors that pop into the MetroMax platform posts for a sturdy fit. The shelf comes with 6-inch, removable polypropylene mats that reinforce a smooth surface and reduce the risk of tears in packaged products. To secure products during transportation, the mats' ends contain a ³⁄₁₆-inch ship's edge.

The Metro MAX4-1836F shelf can endure a temperature range from -20 to 120 degrees Fahrenheit when loaded. During cleaning, it can withstand a maximum temperature of 212 degrees Fahrenheit for short periods of time. This shelf includes several features to keep maintenance low, while Microban® antimicrobial product protection is engineered into the shelf and mat to stunt the growth of bacteria, mold, mildew, and fungus. The polymer construction is corrosion resistant, so the shelf can endure wet environments and harsh chemicals. Because they're removable, the mats can be washed by hand or placed in a commercial dishwasher.
