Metro HS2442-EKIT Description
To-go orders can be held at safe temperatures on the Metro HS2442-EKIT Super Erecta® enclosed heated shelf kit's warming shelf, which can be modified as hot as 200 degrees Fahrenheit. For even heat distribution, this stainless steel shelf features a conductive aluminum core, low-wattage foil elements, and an aluminum diffuser. Its smooth surface can be wiped clean after order retrieval to maintain a sanitary pickup station. Packaged snacks, disposable cutlery, napkins, and condiments can be displayed on the nonheated top shelf.
Because doors and side panels encase the Metro HS2442-EKIT shelf kit's heated shelf, this unit can extend holding periods, protect against airborne particulates, and display contents effectively. All four doors are made of clear polycarbonate and feature handles treated with Microban® antimicrobial technology to slow bacterial growth between cleanings. While the front doors have a sliding design, the rear doors are hinged; together, these doors create a seamless pass-thru design that enables customers to retriever orders from the front. This enclosed kit measures 427/10 inches wide by 277/10 inches deep by 172/5 inches high—great for countertop placement.
