Metro HS1842 Description
The Metro HS1842 Super Erecta® hot heated shelf's rectangular 4115⁄16-inch-wide by 185⁄8-inch-deep structure accommodates food pans, pizza boxes, and to-go orders for a range of warming requirements. Because it includes four 3-inch polymer feet, it can be used as a standalone unit on countertops, and it comes with four split sleeves for attachment to Super Erecta SiteSelect™ posts (sold separately) for incorporation into an existing shelf setup. Its smooth stainless steel surface resists corrosion and rust and can be wiped clean between uses.
Operators can modify the Metro HS1842 heated shelf's temperature as high as 200 degrees Fahrenheit with its correlating thermostatic control, while low-watt foil heating elements built into the shelf are attached to an aluminum diffuser that guides heat toward the shelf's surface. For even heat distribution, this shelf is built with a conductive aluminum core. For simple operation, its control panel features a power switch.
