To-go orders can be stored on the Metro HS1442-EKIT Super Erecta® enclosed shelf kit's heated shelf, which includes a correlating thermostat that can reach 200 degrees Fahrenheit. Foil heating elements uniformly warm this 4115/16-inch-wide by 145/8-inch-deep shelf's surface to prevent cold and hot spots. A nonheated stainless steel shelf on the top of this stainless steel unit accommodates silverware, condiments, napkins, and other items that don't require warming.
To improve accessibility and safety, the Metro HS1442-EKIT heated shelf kit boasts a pass-thru design with two clear polycarbonate sliding front doors and two clear hinged rear doors. While customers can select their purchase quickly from the front, operators can insert contents into the back. The doors' handles are treated with Microban—an antimicrobial protection agent that inhibits bacterial, mold, and mildew growth between regularly scheduled cleanings. For sleek front-of-house presentation, this 427/10-inch-wide by 177/10-inch-deep by 172/5-inch-high unit is encased with powder-coated side panels.
