Metro 5X447G4 MetroMax® 4 Polymer Louvered Shelf Kit - 42"W x 21"D x 74"H

As much as 2,000 pounds of produce, meat, bulk ingredients, or supplies can be stored on the Metro 5X447G4 MetroMax® 4 starter shelving unit. This five-tier shelving system is comprised of rigid, four-sided shelf frames and open-grid polymer shelf mats that promote airflow and enhance light penetration to minimize dust and debris accumulation. To protect products from malodors and preserve their quality, the shelf mats are treated with Microban® antimicrobial protection, which slows the growth of microbes, fungi, and bacteria between regular cleanings. For thorough sanitization, these shelf mats can be removed and cleaned in a dishmachine or washing machine.

The Metro 5X447G4 MetroMax 4 shelving system ships with four posts, five shelves, open-grid shelf mats, and five bags of four wedge connectors that enable tool-free assembly. The wedge connectors' raised beads fit into the posts' grooves; their windows align with the posts' numbers to ensure shelves are secured at a level position. Once the wedges are attached to the posts, the shelves can be placed atop the wedges. To accommodate changing inventory, each shelf can be raised or lowered in 1-inch increments along the posts. Capable of surviving humid walk-ins, dishrooms, and kitchens, this structure is built with rust- and corrosion-resistant polymer posts and shelf mats that are NSF rated for all environments. Fully assembled, this unit measures 41¹⁵⁄₁₆ inches wide by 21¹⁄₂ inches deep by 74³⁄₁₆ inches tall.
