Beverly, the office manager, performs multiple tasks throughout the day, with her main focus being on customer orders. Beverly takes phone orders, both U.S. and international orders, and follows up on these by invoicing and ensuring that payment is received. She handles general concerns and growth development throughout our office.
Beverly, a beloved member of our team & family, passed away on November 10, 2009. She will be greatly missed. In Loving Memory of Beverly Lewis.
Ashley has various jobs for KaTom, including accounts payable and answering info requests. She works hard to ensure that the NAFED catalog is complete and up-to-date. Ashley is also our "Live Chat" representative; so any time you speak to us through Live Chat, you are most likely talking to Ashley.
Becky has numerous roles in the KaTom office, with the main part of her day being focused on paying bills. This is essential to the every day functioning of the office, as well as helping to ensure that our company maintains in good standing with all of our vendors. Becky is also in charge of paying our NAFED bills. Becky is happily married to a wonderful man.
Birdie, or Julia as few are privy to know her by, provides years of expertise in customer service for . Birdie takes and processes phone orders on a daily basis while also processing internet orders. Birdie works closely with Beverly on international orders as well. Birdie is also in charge of our bank deposits, ensuring that our funds are properly managed. Birdie is also CoCo's aunt.
Cecelia is our bid manager. As bid manager, she receives all bid quotes and prepares them in a timely and accurate manner and follows up on them after they have been sent. Cecelia deals directly with numerous school accounts as well.
Affectionately known as Cece, she is also the "trainer" of the group, in charge of making sure each new team member knows exactly what duty they are to perform and are equipped with the knowledge to do their job accurately. In addition to these tasks, Cecelia also takes phones orders and helps with Live Chat when Ashley is not here or if Live Chat is especially busy. Cecelia works on the KaTom flyer as well, which is produced roughly every 2 months.
Christy, our procurement specialist, works hard to find new bids for our company, while taking phone orders as well. Christy organizes the GSA schedule, ensuring that we get our fair share of federal bids. Christy spent many, many hours working on information for the WBENC (Women's Business Enterprise National Council); making certain that they had all the necessary documents to expedite our entry into the WBENC.
Courtney performs many tasks throughout the day, with her official title being that of Pricing Coordinating Assistant. As the name implies, Courtney deals directly with pricing issues on a daily basis while also balancing internet orders and the yearly update of the NAFED catalog. Courtney spends time comparing prices around the industry to make sure we stay on the leading edge in order to provide you, the customer, with the lowest prices in the industry.
Danny is a vital member of the KaTom sales team as he performs numerous tasks throughout the day. Danny's main job is customer service; as he spends a great deal of time speaking directly with customers and handling internet orders. Danny also works in conjunction with our bid team and our outside sales team to ensure that bids are being placed on orders delivered via outside sales. As of late, Danny is also working with our web team to help provide quality original content for our products.
Danny has recently moved to work full-time with the web team. He spends a great deal of time writing excellent content for the site as well as informative articles. Danny is learning and growing with our web team and we look forward to all he has to offer.
Dawn is the newest member of the KaTom sales team. She works within the bid team, ensuring that customers receive accurate, timely quotes on their equipment purchases. Dawn also spends a great deal of time working with customers via phone, taking and processing orders.
Deb has numerous jobs with the sales team, which she handles in a professional, yet humorous manner throughout the day. Deb handles parts requests and returns, ensuring that customers get exactly the parts they need and, should there be a problem with the order, handles the return in a timely manner. Deb also spends a great deal of time working with sales and internet order. We greatly enjoy her enthusiastic attitude each day.
Mary is very busy throughout the day, performing numerous tasks for KaTom. Her official title is administrative assistant to Patricia, the company owner & CEO, with her main focus being on purchasing. Mary also deals with freight claims and does all the paperwork necessary to get this process moving. Mary has been quoted as saying she "loves her customers" and happily tries to correct customer concerns on a daily basis.
Olivia spends a great deal of her time working with invoicing, ensuring that customerorders receive the proper attention. Olivia also works with freight trucks, helping to make sure the correct products ship to customers. Olivia takes phone orders as well, and deals with billing issues to try to resolve them in a timely and professional manner. Olivia is a tribute to several accounts in dealing with their day to day orders. Olivia has just returned after a few weeks off with her new daughter and family.
Roni, the self-proclaimed "Jill of All Trades", truly lives up to her title. Roni spends a great deal of her time working on UPS claims, as well as returns and damages. Roni is also the backup parts lady, ensuring that customers receive the proper parts for their special request needs.
Samantha performs many tasks throughout the day, with info requests and internet orders keeping her busy most often. When she is not working hard to complete these tasks, Samantha is speaking with customers, taking orders, and working hard on any other assigned task she may have.
Sandra works within our bid team, helping to ensure that customers get accurate quotes in a timely manner. When Sandra is not working on bids, she spends a great deal of time processing internet orders, speaking to customers, taking phone orders, and providing excellent customer service.
Tamara deals directly with internet orders, ensuring that each one is correctly processed and the proper follow up action is taken. Tamara is also in charge of ship directs. She also spends her time in our actual in-house store dealing directly with customers who come in to purchase items. Tamara is also a full-time student who is working her way through college, with a medical coding major.
Tammy is often the first person you will see when you walk into KaTom. She spends a great deal of her time at our front desk greeting and helping cash and carry customers with their ordering and pick up needs. Tammy also answers phones and directs customers to the appropriate department or representative. Tammy works with the parts department as well, answering both phone and email requests.
Teresa is in charge of accounts payable for KaTom. Teresa also works hard to ensure that sends all of their payments at the appropriate time in order to keep us in good standing. Teresa is also Patricia's assistant, performing various tasks throughout the day in order to help maintain order around the office. Teresa's high level of energy is an asset to the multiple functions that she handles every day.
