Induction Cooking, while not a new concept, has had amazing technological advancements in manufacturing and design.

Induction cooktops have been used in Europe for a number of years, and are rapidly gaining popularity in the U.S. and around the world because of their safety, efficiency, and ease of cleaning. Induction cooktops hold a series of burners called induction coils, which are based on magnetic principals. These magnetic coils generate magnetic fields that induct a warming reaction in stee-based pots and / or pans. The actual cooking vessel itself heat the food, not the cooktop, creating a cooktop that is warm to the touch, but not warm enough to burn you if you touch the surface.
