Embrace the Red, White, and Blue with the iSi Whipper this 4th of July

This year, why not impress your guests with celebration worthy, yet simple, whipped treats? Don’t worry, you will still have the celebratory red, white, and blue.

Here are some recipes to try out for this year’s celebration:

Red Wine Cream on Rum Plums

Ingredients for a 1-Pint Gourmet Whip Plus iSi Whipper

  • 3.75 oz. red wine
  • 1.7 oz. crème de cassis
  • 12 oz. cream
  • 2 cups rum plums
  • 1 tbs. powdered sugar
  • 2.5 oz. liqueur (peach, apricot, etc.)

Directions

Mix the red wine with cassis, powdered sugar, and cream until the powdered sugar is completely dissolved, then pour into the 1-Pint Gourmet Whip iSi Whipper. Screw on one iSi Cream Charger and shake vigorously. Garnish the rum plums, cooked in a little liqueur, with the well-chilled red wine cream.

White Chocolate Cream Espresso

  • 2 cups cream
  • 2.5 oz. dark chocolate sauce

Directions

Pour all ingredients into the 1-Pint Gourmet Whip Plus iSi Whipper. Screw on an iSi Cream Charger and shake well. Top an espresso with white chocolate cream and garnish with orange zest, chocolate shavings, patriotic sprinkles, ground nutmeg, or ground cinnamon.

Blueberry Yogurt Tiramisù

  • 1 cup natural yogurt
  • 1 cup mascarpone
  • 2 oz. cream
  • 1 tsp. vanilla essence
  • 1.5 tsp. stevia granules
  • 3.5 tbs. powdered sugar

Ingredients for Dessert Plating

  • 1cup blueberries
  • liquid stevia
  • 10-20 lady fingers
  • 2 cups orange juice

Directions

Stir all ingredients together until the granules are completely dissolved. Pour into the 1-Pint Gourmet Whip Plus iSi Whipper. Screw on one cream charger and shake vigorously.

For the blueberry yogurt tiramisù, sweeten 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries with 5 to 8 drops of liquid stevia. Crush the berries with a fork and stir in 4 tablespoons of blueberry juice. Dip the ladyfingers in orange juice and layer them in a glass, alternating with the yogurt cream and blueberries.
