Chocolate Covered Cherries

Ingredients:
3 3/4 cup powdered sugar
4 Tablespoon. cream
1/2 cup butter
Topping:
2 squares semi-sweet chocolate
2 Tablespoon butter
1 (6 oz.) package chocolate chips
2 inch square Paraffin wax
Directions:
Mix first three ingredients together in bowl, then add 1 teaspoon. maple flavoring. Cover cherries with mixture. Place cherries in the refrigerator to cool.
Melt “Topping” ingredients together & dip cherries in this mixture. Allow to cool.

every chocolate-covered cherry i’ve ever eaten has been so sickly sweet and free of cherry flavor that i no longer buy them. making them myself? why, that’s a great idea!
