5 Minute Chocolate Cake & Vanilla Ice Cream
In my opinion, there is no better snack than chocolate cake with delicious vanilla ice cream. However, there usually isn’t enough time to make an entire cake and the ice cream that accompanies it, so I was delighted to find these two recipes: 5 minute chocolate cake & 5 minute ice cream. Try them for yourself; you’ll love them!
5 Minute Chocolate Cake
4 Tbsp. flour
4 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. cocoa
1 egg
3 Tbsp. milk
3 Tbsp. oil
Small splash vanilla extract
1 large coffee mug
Directions:
Add dry ingredients to mug and mix well.
Add egg and mix thoroughly. Pour in the milk and oil, mix well. Add vanilla extract, mix well again.
Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1,000 watts (high). The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don’t be alarmed! Allow to cool a little, and put on plate. Enjoy!
Yield: 1 serving
5 Minute Vanilla Ice Cream
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 c. half & half
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 c. salt (The bigger the granules, the better. Kosher or rock salt works best, but table salt is fine.)
Ice cubes (enough to fill each gallon-size bag about half full)
1 pint-size Ziploc bag
1 gallon-size Ziploc bag
Directions:
Combine the sugar, half & half, and vanilla extract in the pint-size bag and seal tightly.
Place the salt & ice in the gallon-size bag, then place the sealed smaller bag inside as well. Seal the larger bag. Now shake the bags until the mixture hardens (about 5 minutes). Feel the small bag to determine when it’s done.
Take the smaller bag out of the larger one, add mix-ins, and eat the ice cream right out of the bag. Easy cleanup!

can this really be good? who has ever heard of 5 minute anything baked! i can’t wait to try it, thanks as always for the great recipes
