Protein Machine Microwave Oatmeal Recipe
- ¼ cup old-fashioned oats
- ¼ cup almond milk
- ¼ cup water
- ½ banana
- 1tablespoon flax seeds
- 1 egg
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon soy protein powder
There are two ways to approach this simple recipe. You can prepare five breakfasts at once – this certainly makes weekday morning a whole lot less stressful. Or, you can prepare this single recipe once every morning.
To prepare for the week, begin by setting out five two-cup iSi Flex-It bowls. Fill each bowl with all dry ingredients and cover. These can be stored until you are ready to use them throughout the week. Having everything premeasured will expedite the morning process significantly.
When you are ready to cook your oatmeal, simply add the water, milk, egg, vanilla, and banana to the already-measured dried ingredients.
