Vollrath Acquires Anvil America

Vollrath, a leading manufacturer of quality foodservice equipment, recently announced their acquisition of Anvil America, an Asheville, N.C. based manufacturer of countertop cooking and food prep equipment. This acquisition is the latest in a long line of acquisitions that Vollrath has made in an effort expand their offerings. This acquisition will allow Vollrath to begin production of a number of new products, as Anvil previously produced more than 90 foodservice equipment products ranging from griddles to heavy-duty mixers.

The acquisition of Anvil allows Vollrath to continue to provide customers with a wide variety of foodservice equipment that now reaches into the countertop equipment segment. The combination of Vollrath & Anvil America will expand “Vollrath’s existing portfolio, strong manufacturing reputation and channel management experience” to “further solidify our position as a leader in the marketplace,” explains Tom Belot, Vollrath’s president and chief executive officer.
